The Presidency of the Panhellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industries (PEF) was won in the recent elections, by the union's former Vice President, Mr. Theodore Tryfon. At a time when supporting the Greek pharmaceutical industry has become increasingly imperative, emphasis placed on manufacturing, extroversion, as well as innovation, comprise the axes which will allow for the Healthcare sector to reach great heights. The Greek pharmaceutical industry has in fact been recognized as a critical driving force which will significantly contribute to the restructuring of the actual economy, and stimulate entrepreneurship.


The new Board of Directors which was elected be the General Assembly of the Panhellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industries (PEF), assembled to vote for the new members of the PEF Executive Board.

The General Assembly which was concluded with the significant participation of its members, who represent in their entirety the productive powers in the Greek Pharmaceutical Industry, were all present in the spirit of collaboration, of unity, and looking forward to the future success of Greek Pharmaceutics.

The new Board of Directors of the Panhellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industries is as follows:

- Vice President: Theodoros-Polychronis Koletis
- Vice President: Dimitrios Demos
- Vice President: Vassilios Katsos
- Secretary: George Papazoglou
- Treasurer: Nikolaos Boufidis
- Board Member: Simos Anastasopoulos
- Board Member: Nikos Rassias
- Board Member: Antonios Evmorfiadis
- Alternate Board Members: Konstantinos Pachis, Evagelos Zekkas, and Makis Economou

Through the words of the newly elected President of the Panhellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industries, Mr. Theodore Tryfon, in representing the entire Board of Directors, expressed his confidence that the role of the Greek pharmaceutical industry as a pillar of growth in Greece will be further strengthened in the coming years, while also stating the certitude that Greek pharmaceutics are the solution to the problems of pharmaceutical policies in Greece.
