Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility

Contribution to Society and to fellow human beings is inherent in ELPEN’s DNA and has defined our journey from 1965 to the present day.

With a sense of responsibility towards society and its needs, we have actively engaged in improving people's quality of life, by implementing an extensive Corporate Social Responsibility program with actions of nationwide scope and lasting impact.

Within this context, our initiatives focus on five key pillars:

  • National Health System
We actively support the National Health System through donations of medicines, medical-technological equipment, as well as by covering a variety of needs.
  • Scientific community
At ELPEN we believe in research, talent and potential of Greek scientists, investing more than 15% of our turnover in research programs annually.
  • Greek society
We stand by vulnerable social groups, as well as local and remote communities. Every year we respond to numerous requests and implement social programs in collaboration with non-profit organizations and institutions.
  • Our people
We care for the development, well-being and safety of our employees. At the same time, we also have volunteer teams, further strengthening volunteerism within the Company.
  • Environment
We are committed to responsible production practices and initiatives that reduce our ecological footprint.

For us at ELPEN, social contribution is not merely a commitment, but a promise to society and to our fellow human beings. A promise that we will continue to honor with new actions, new collaborations and a steadfast commitment to the values that guide us.
