Imupret® can be used just after the occurrence of the first symptoms of a cold and during its progression when the patient experiences:

  • Throat discomfort or sore throat
  • Difficulty in swallowing
  • Cough(1)
  • Nasal congestion or runny nose
  • Malaise
  • Chills(4)

Imupret® is a herbal medicine consisting of a combination of seven medicinal plants:


Althaeae radix

Quercus cortex

Matricariae flos

Taraxaci herba

Equiseti herba

Millefolii herba

 

 

Juglandis folium(1)

 

Imupret® exhibits immunomodulatory(2) and antiviral(3) properties, aiding in the management of symptoms caused by a viral infection.

Dosage Instructions

Children aged 6–11 years:

  • 1 tablet 5–6 times daily during severe symptoms
  • 1 tablet 3 times daily after the severe symptoms subside

Adults and children aged 12 years and above:

  • 2 tablets 5–6 times daily during severe symptoms
  • 2 tablets 3 times daily after the severe symptoms subside(1)

Non prescription medicine for the first symptoms and during a cold. Not to be administered to patients<6 years old, pregnancy, lactation, hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or the plants of the family of Compositae, galactose, fructose intolerance, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency. If symptoms persist for more than a week, or worsen, patient should ask for medical advice. Each tablet contains on average 0.2 g of carbohydrates.
