Professor Machairas also stated that the dynamic export performance of the Greece pharmaceutical industry provided concrete evidence of the safety and quality of Greek pharmaceuticals.
In what regards generic drugs, the University of Athens Professor stressed that those who are unaware of the facts should not speak, and proceeded to present scientific data regarding the efficacy of and comparison between generics and original drugs.
The Conference took place on November 8-10 and was organized by the National Center of Health Enterprises of the Greek Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Hellenic Center for Disease Control & Prevention (HCDCP) and with the contributions of the WHO European Region, and the Health Security Committee of the European Commission.
