D Ready®

D Ready® is a NON-PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE for regulating vitamin D blood levels. The active substance of D Ready® is Calcifediol. It is available in packs of 12 soft capsules, and each soft capsule contains 75 micrograms of calcifediol monohydrate.¹

D Ready®
What is Calcifediol?

Vitamin D must be converted into its active form through a two-step process in order to act.

  • In the first stage, it is converted into calcifediol (25(OH)D3) in the liver.
  • In the second stage, calcifediol is further converted into the active form called calcitriol (1,25(OH)2D3) in the kidneys.²

Calcifediol is therefore a form of vitamin D that is one step before the final active form (calcitriol), which is responsible for all the important functions of vitamin D in the body.²

Calcifediol is naturally present in the body and is also the form we measure to assess vitamin D levels in the blood.

Compared to most vitamin D supplements available on the market, calcifediol is one step closer to the active form.²
