Sinupret® extract is a herbal medicinal product for the treatment of acute uncomplicated rhinosinusitis(1), during which the patient presents symptoms such as:

  • Nasal congestion and/or nasal drip
  • Facial Pain and pressure
  • Reduction or loss of smell(2)

Sinupret® extract has mucolytic(5), anti-inflammatory(4), and antiviral effects(3). It reduces the intensity of acute uncomplicated rhinosinusitis symptoms, with an overall benefit of symptom relief 4 days earlier(2).

Sinupret® is a plant-based medicine that contains the dry extract of 5 medicinal plants.

Specifically, it contains:


Gentian root

Primrose flowers

Elderflower

Sorrel herb

Verbena herb(1)

 

Dosage

  • 1 tablet every 8 hours for 7 to 14 days. It should preferably be taken after meals(1).
  • Sinupret® extract is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

A non-prescription medicine for acute uncomplicated rhinosinusitis. Not to be administered to individuals under 18 years of age, in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, peptic ulcer, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, sucrose-isomaltase deficiency, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In the event of the rare side effect "dizziness," it may affect the ability to drive or operate machinery. If symptoms persist for more than 7-14 days, worsen, or recur, seek medical advice. Each tablet contains, on average, 0.3 grams of carbohydrates.
